Testimonials

...Thank you so much GYRB! The money raised stays local to help our families and neighbors!
-Jennifer, Saratoga Springs, NY
I received a phone call today from a woman who two days ago felt helpless. She was having trouble making ends meet and had limited money for gas. She travels far for her cancer care. There are very limited facilities where she lives. Yesterday she received an envelope from GYRB. It was filled with gift cards for food, gas, etc. She cried happy tears to me...
-Diane, Nurse Navigator, Saratoga Springs, NY
...Reducing the monetary stress is such a relief and makes it easier to focus on just getting through your treatment and getting better. Thank you and please express my appreciation to all the groups that provide so much support and lessen the pain of cancer.
-Lisa, Ballston Spa, NY
...She asked, “how could a stranger want to help me?” I answered, “well that’s what Connie and GYRB are all about!” Connie, God Bless you for being you and God Bless Get Your Rack Back!
-Diane, Nurse Navigator, Saratoga Springs, NY
...With the travel from Chadwicks to Saratoga, and the price of gas and groceries, my children and I have found that your gifts of love were of greater value than you will ever understand...
-Kari, Chadwicks, NY
How can I possibly thank you for such an incredibly generous and thoughtful gift?! I so appreciate you thinking of me and for your encouraging words as well (including your book which I loved that was given to me by a friend). You definitely can relate which makes all of this even more special. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. The gift cards are absolutely helpful and just nice.
-Toni, Fort Edward, NY
...Get Your Rack Back is an amazing foundation. I am so grateful for your care and concern for my family during our struggle. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us and for my fellow sisters’ families!
-Kari, Chadwicks, NY
My family received a beautiful note and several gift cards from you. Thank you so very much for reaching out to us and for blessing us with your generosity. I could barely read your card to my daughter, I was so touched. Thank you Connie, your words and gifts were so appreciated.
-Christine, Clifton Park, NY
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your gift of gift cards this Christmas. These gifts have come as a tremendous assistance to my little family through these very difficult times. I am doing my best to support my son, who is 5 years old and my daughter who is 4 years old...
-Kari, Chadwicks, NY
I am the oncology MSW at Saratoga Hospital and I was able to deliver a generous check to my patient to help her cover her medical expenses for her cancer treatments. She was so overwhelmed with gratitude and asked me “why would they help me?” I told her because Connie has been there and she knows what you are going through...
-Jennifer, Saratoga Springs, NY
Your generous, kind and unexpected gift left me speechless with emotion and deep gratitude. I apologize for not reaching out sooner, but I have recently been going through a difficult time. Thank you for helping to soften the pain. Thank you for doing what you do with courage and grace.
-Nancy, Saratoga Spring, NY
Just wanted to let you know how much your help has assisted me in my recovery. The financial and emotional support has been so much more than you will ever know. These are such special people who work and volunteer to help people – those of us dealing with cancer diagnosis and recovery – who will never truly understand how much they contribute to our recovery and peace of mind...
-Lisa, Ballston Spa, NY
